Terms of service

Clear, fair terms for using Cenaplan.

Overview

Welcome to Cenaplan. These terms apply when you use our website, public pages, authenticated web app, APIs, mobile-style experiences, email journeys, and related services.

Cenaplan is designed to help people capture and organise recipes, plan meals, generate shopping lists, collaborate across a household, and use assistant-style features such as recipe suggestions, voice-led interactions, import tools, and nutritional analysis.

By accessing or using Cenaplan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who We Are

Cenaplan is the food-planning service offered by Arceau Solutions Ltd under the Cenaplan brand.

Arceau Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 09558949. Its registered office is Charlton House, Dour Street, Dover, Kent, England, CT16 1BL.

If you are using a paid version of the service, Arceau Solutions Ltd is the contracting entity unless the checkout flow, invoice, or order confirmation states otherwise.

Eligibility And Accounts

  • You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Cenaplan.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account, joining a household, or managing a subscription.
  • You are responsible for keeping sign-in methods, one-time codes, and devices secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account or household access unless you report unauthorised use promptly.
  • Household and team-style access must only be used within the limits of your plan. Do not share paid access outside the intended account structure.

What Cenaplan Does

Cenaplan provides tools for:

  • saving recipes from manual entry, uploads, images, screenshots, and supported links;
  • organising recipes with tags and other metadata;
  • building meal plans and shopping lists;
  • inviting household members or other permitted users into a shared account space;
  • generating recipe, planning, and ingredient suggestions;
  • offering nutritional estimates and related planning insights; and
  • sending service emails and, where you opt in, marketing emails.

Important Food, Nutrition And AI Disclaimers

  • Cenaplan is not a medical service and does not provide medical, dietetic, or emergency advice.
  • Nutritional values, allergen information, ingredient interpretation, substitutions, and AI-generated outputs are estimates only and may be incomplete or incorrect.
  • You remain responsible for checking recipes, allergens, quantities, cooking times, food safety, and whether a meal is suitable for your dietary, medical, cultural, pregnancy, or allergy needs.
  • If you rely on nutrition or dietary information for a health condition, obtain advice from a qualified professional.
  • AI or imported content may reflect third-party errors, incomplete source material, or model mistakes. Review outputs before cooking, sharing, or relying on them.

Acceptable Use

You must use Cenaplan lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, data-mine, benchmark, or use automated means to extract content or data from the service except where we expressly allow it;
  • interfere with security, rate limits, authentication, or the normal operation of the service;
  • upload malware, harmful code, or content that infringes another person’s rights;
  • use the service to violate privacy, intellectual property, consumer law, or platform rules;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code except where applicable law cannot lawfully prevent that;
  • misuse assistant, import, upload, invite, or messaging features for spam, fraud, harassment, or unlawful content; or
  • bypass plan, seat, trial, usage, or access restrictions.

We may monitor, investigate, block, suspend, or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or our legal position.

Content You Upload Or Submit

  • You keep ownership of recipes, notes, images, uploads, meal plans, shopping data, and other content you submit.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Cenaplan.
  • You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload, import, store, and share that content.
  • You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and suitability of your content.
  • We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or breaches these terms.

Imported And Third-Party Content

Cenaplan may let you import recipes or other material from links, files, screenshots, images, or third-party services.

  • Third-party terms may still apply to that source content.
  • We do not guarantee that imported content will be complete, accurate, lawful to reuse in every context, or continuously available.
  • Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for third-party sites, services, or materials.

Intellectual Property

  • We own or control the intellectual property rights in Cenaplan, including the software, branding, site design, and service-generated materials other than your own content.
  • The Cenaplan name, branding, and associated marks are owned by or used under the authority of Arceau Solutions Ltd. You must not use them without permission.
  • These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Cenaplan for your personal or internal household use during the period your access is valid.
  • You must not copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit Cenaplan or our content except as we expressly permit.

Paid Plans, Trials And Billing

  • Some features require a paid plan. Current features, usage limits, seat limits, and prices are shown before purchase.
  • Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal, where the checkout or payment provider says they do.
  • Trials, promotional periods, and beta access may be offered on separate conditions and may be withdrawn or changed where lawful.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to payment transactions.
  • You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and renewal charges for your selected plan.
  • If payment fails, we may suspend paid features, downgrade access, or cancel the subscription after reasonable retry or notice steps.
  • If you cancel, access usually continues until the end of the current paid period unless the plan or payment flow says otherwise.

UK Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you are a UK consumer and buy a subscription or digital service online, you may have statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Where you expressly request immediate access to digital content or digital services during the 14-day cancellation period, and you acknowledge that this may reduce or remove your cancellation right once supply starts, we may begin providing the service immediately. In that case:

  • you may lose the right to cancel once digital content has been fully supplied; or
  • if ongoing digital services have started, you may need to pay for the part already supplied, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you cannot lawfully waive.

Changes To Features And Availability

  • We may update, improve, suspend, or remove features to reflect product development, security needs, legal requirements, or third-party changes.
  • We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
  • We may impose reasonable technical or usage limits, including for storage, AI usage, file size, voice features, and account seats.

Marketing, Privacy And Cookies

  • Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
  • If you sign up for marketing, newsletter, waitlist, or register-interest updates, we may contact you by email in line with your preferences and applicable law.
  • Marketing preference links and unsubscribe tools form part of how we manage consent and suppression requests.
  • We use cookies or similar technologies for service operation, security, sign-in, preferences, and analytics as described in our privacy and cookie information.

Suspension And Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately if:

  • you materially or repeatedly breach these terms;
  • your use creates security, fraud, abuse, legal, or operational risk;
  • we are required to do so by law or a third-party platform/provider; or
  • payment for a paid plan remains overdue.

You may stop using Cenaplan at any time. Where account deletion is available, deletion may be subject to active subscription, trial, billing, or technical constraints. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete the account unless we say it does.

Liability

  • We provide Cenaplan with reasonable care and skill, but the service is offered on an "as available" basis.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that Cenaplan will always be uninterrupted, secure, perfectly accurate, or suitable for every purpose.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate user content, third-party content, imported material, recipe outcomes, cooking results, allergy events, or reliance on AI or nutrition estimates, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity where such exclusions are permitted by law.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with Cenaplan is limited to the greater of GBP 100 or the amount you paid us for the relevant paid service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you keep the benefit of any mandatory local rights that apply to you, and you may have the right to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, product, or business changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating this page, notifying you in-app, or emailing you.

Not Legal Advice

This page is written to create a practical UK-oriented terms baseline for Cenaplan. It is not legal advice to you as the operator. Before launch or paid scale-up, you should have UK counsel review the Arceau Solutions Ltd company disclosures, subscription flow wording, cancellation acknowledgements, cookie consent setup, and any health or nutrition claims.
